NBA DRAFT DAY!

Here it is... the day is finally here, the NBA DRAFT! For my money, the NBA Draft is way more exciting than the NFL Draft. The reason being that players drafted into the NBA have the chance to contribute right away and sometimes even help a team turn things around quicker than usual. In the NFL Draft, since it is an 11 man unit on the field it is hard for someone outside of the QB position to help turn a team around, and the 7 rounds seem to go on forever. I also believe a player drafted in the NBA does not have to spend nearly as much time studying the playbook and more often than not raw talent and instinct can carry a player.

So in true TOP 10 tradition, I am going to give you my Top 10 underrated and overrated draft picks going into the 2008 version of the NBA Draft. It will be split into two rankings of 5.
TOP 10 MOST UNDERRATED ATHLETES IN 2008 DRAFT (Part 1 of 2):
05. Bill Walker SF Kansas State
04. DJ Augustin PG Texas
03. Eric Gordon SG Indiana
02. Brandon Rush SG/SF Kansas
01. Chris Douglas-Roberts SG Memphis

TOP 10 MOST OVERRATED ATHLETES IN 2008 DRAFT (Part 2 of 2):
05. Mario Chalmers PG Kansas
04. DeAndre Jordan C Texas A&M
03. Kosta Koufos C Ohio State
02. Danilo Gallinari SF Italy
01. Kevin Love PF UCLA
Also, a couple of NBA Transactions to note, which should be about finalized.
* Milwaukee trades F Yi Jianlian and G/F Bobby Simmons to New Jersey for SF Richard Jefferson
Projected Starting Lineups:
Nets: Devin Harris, Vince Carter, Yi, Sean Williams, Josh Boone
Bucks: Mo Williams, Michael Redd, Richard Jefferson, Charlie Villanueva, Andrew Bogut
* Indiana trades F/C Jermaine O'Neal to Toronto for PG TJ Ford, C Rasho Nesterovic, and the #17 Pick tonight.
Projected Starting Lineups
Pacers: TJ Ford, Mike Dunleavy, Danny Granger, Troy Murphy, Jeff Foster
Raptors: Jose Calderon, Anthony Parker, Jamario Moon, Chris Bosh, Jermaine O'Neal
Some interesting trades, do you think any other big players will move? Will Elton Brand or Shawn Marion be traded? Will the Miami Heat keep the 2nd pick and take Michael Beasley or OJ Mayo or trade it?
